Project Overview

About the project

BlockDeed is a blockchain-powered real estate platform that brings transparency, security, and efficiency to property transactions. It offers fraud-free listings, smart contract agreements, and secure, tamper-proof deals. Key features include property verification, transparent records, and seamless, trustless transactions.

BlockDeed was built for a property group that wanted the paperwork behind a sale to be verifiable by everyone in the deal. The goal was a listing and agreement flow where the record of who signed what, and when, cannot be edited afterwards.

The Challenges

What we had to solve

  1. Blockchain without the jargon Buyers and sellers should not have to understand wallets or gas fees, so keys are handled for them and every on-chain step is described in plain words.
  2. Proof without publishing private papers Documents stay in private storage and only a hash of each one goes on chain, which is enough to prove a file has not been altered.
  3. Verifying a listing A property is checked against ownership records before it can be listed, so verification is a reviewed step with an audit trail of its own.
  4. Settling at a readable pace Confirmation times vary, so each stage of an agreement shows its own state and the deal carries on instead of blocking on a pending transaction.
