Home School Minutes was built for homeschooling parents who have to keep a record of what was taught and for how long. They wanted logging a day to take a minute, and the year to be ready to print whenever it is asked for.

The Challenges
What we had to solve
- Logging a day in a minute Parents log for several children at once, so the daily form repeats the last entry and asks only for what has changed.
- Records that suit the rules What has to be reported differs from place to place, so subjects, minutes and attendance are stored separately and the report is built from them.
- Progress you can see Minutes only mean something over time, so the charts roll days into weeks, terms and subjects instead of re-reading every entry.
- Handwriting on a tablet The handwriting assessment is captured on a canvas, stored with the sample it belongs to and shown beside earlier ones for comparison.
