Bizeebay is a smart online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers for smooth, secure shopping. Users can list products easily, browse real-time listings, and use advanced filters to find deals fast. With secure payments, order tracking, and a user-friendly dashboard, Bizeebay makes e-commerce easy.

BizeeBay was built for a marketplace operator who wanted a seller to be able to list a product in a couple of minutes and a buyer to trust that the order would arrive. The brief was a marketplace that runs itself: listings, payments, tracking and disputes in one dashboard.

The Challenges

What we had to solve

Search that keeps up Listings change all day, so the search index is updated as a listing is saved rather than on a nightly job, and the filters read from it instead of the main tables.
Paying several sellers at once One basket can hold items from more than one seller, so a payment is split and settled per seller while the buyer still sees a single charge.
Listings worth browsing Sellers upload photographs straight from a phone, so images are resized and compressed on upload and a listing is held back until the required fields are filled.
One order, several shipments An order with three sellers has three deliveries, so the buyer dashboard shows one order with a clear state for each part of it.
